Official Travel Agent
The Japan Travel Bureau, Inc. (JTB) has been appointed as the Official Travel Agent for Conference and will
handle all related travel arrangements including hotel accommodation. Inquiries and applications concerning

Hotel Accommodation
JTB has reserved a sufficient number of rooms at the following hotels for Conference participants at special
discount rates. Please reserve your hotel by using the enclosed application form which should be returned to
JTB, before Oct. 13 2000 with the necessary deposit (10,000 Japanese Yen per room). Hotel assignment will be
made on a first-come, first-served basis. Daily room charges are as follows:

1) Above rate includes breakfast and service charge, but not tax.
2) The deposit of 10,000 YEN will be deducted when settling the bill with the hotel.

4) The ICNP2000 organizers strongly recommend staying at Senri Hankyu Hotel because bus
transportation service will be offered from Senri Hankyu Hotel to the conference cite.
Cancellation
If you want to cancel your hotel, a written notification should be sent directly to JTB. The deposit will be refunded,
but the following cancellation fees will be charged depending on when the notification is received by JTB.
At least 9 days before the first night of stay ………… 1,000 YEN per room
8-2 days before ……………………………...………… 20% of the daily room charge (minimum: 2,000 YEN)
One day before …………...……………………………. 50% of the daily room charge
The same day, or no notice given …………..………. 100% of the daily room charge
