Wuhan University of Technology
Wuhan University of Technology is one of the key universities under the direct administration of the Ministry of
Education of P.R. China. It is one of the universities included in the state-211 Project and the only one university
that has navigation program. The university has eight major disciplines that include engineering, natural sciences,
humanities, management, economics, law, philosophy and education. There are about 48,000 students studying
in the university.
In 1952, the university began to admit international students. It is now the university appointed to admit the
international students under the Chinese Government Scholarship Program. It is also the English teaching base
for MBA under the Chinese Scholarship Council. There are almost 400 international students from over 60
countries in the university in 2008.
WUT Friendship Scholarship is offered to the self-supported international students from developing countries,
which is to support the distinguished international students who are going to come to study at our university. The
students from developing countries will enjoy 20% discount of the tuition. We also provide the award for
international students each year and recommend the international students to do part time job on the campus to
support themselves.

Chinese before they begin the major study. Master and Ph. D. students can choose to use Chinese or English to
study the programs.

MBA（2-3 years, tuition: RMB27,200.00 Yuan / year）
Wuhan University of Technology has established MBA International Education Center, and is the appointed teaching unit of
MBA program by China Scholarship Council. All the teachers possess oversea academic backgrounds in Europe and USA.
Meanwhile, some famous professors from top universities and CEOs from acknowledged companies all over the world will
be invited to give lectures timely. Students will have opportunities to intern at these well-known companies and attend
international conference.

This master program is targeted to train the master candidates in a variety of economic studies in economic development,
industrial organization, international trade, investment, financial innovation, resources and environmental economics, and
financial management. The teaching staff are composed of professors possessing an oversea backgrounds in Euramerican top
universities such as Yale or Oxford and an rich experience in teaching and supervising international students. The Nobel Prize
Winners, Professor Robert A. Mundell and Professor Clivew.J.Granger, were invited to give lectures at school.

Industrial Engineering (IE) is an integrated engineering subject with combination of engineering and management science.
This program intends to cultivate the students to be the advanced engineering talents in modern industrial engineering and
systematical management. The graduates will be ones adept in the programming, designing, evaluating section of industrial
and commercial administrative system. The Teaching team is mainly composed of teachers who boast an experience of
studying at top Euramerican universities. They are experienced at how to teach and instruct international students. Some
courses will adopt original textbook from American universities.
