Hints on how to keep up with your home reading program.
Try to set a consistent time each day to complete this task.
Allow approximately 25 minutes for reading and 5 minutes for writing the summary.
You could try doing the reading before you go to bed and then write the summary in the morning.
Make sure you find a book that is not too difficult or too easy.
Ensure that you pick a book you think you will enjoy.
Read in an environment free of distractions (turn the TV off or music off)
Keep a notepad handy to jot down things as you are reading that you
wish to include in your summary.

Each day you need to mention briefly about the plot as well as including at least two sentence lead-ins
from the list below. Use a variety of sentence lead-ins across the term.
