STUDENT TEACHING NOTES

A mandatory meeting to apply for admission to student teaching occurs the first Friday of the first week of the term prior to student teaching. Students should have taken and passed their required content test by this meeting. Students who have not done so may find that their student teaching term will be delayed by one or more terms.

Students must meet all requirements for admission to student teaching as published in the FLC Catalog.

Students should have completed all courses when they begin the student teaching term.

Because of the demands of student teaching, no other course should be taken during the student teaching term.

Students should be sure that they have earned at least 108 graduation credits before entering the student teaching term.

Additional Note: By taking a few extra courses you may earn an endorsement in Culturally and
