Animal is to be observed/evaluated at least every 24 hours for a period no less than 14 days post procedure
unless criteria in the rodent surgery policy are met.
 Scoring should be done just before next analgesic dose if possible.
 If total score is >3, or if you score a 2 or 3 in any category, see below for treatment plan.
 Your actions in response to high pain score must be documented in animal report.
