by his brother, and
exiled on the island
Prospero saves Ariel,
who works as his
servant.
One day, a ship
carrying Alonzo and
Antonio goes past,
and Prospero sees his
chance.
Prospero sends Ariel
to whip up a huge
storm; the passengers
jump overboard in
panic.
Prospero gets Ariel
to bring along
Alonzo's son
Ferdinand, who falls
in love with Miranda.
Prospero sends Ariel
to tell Alonzo,
Antonio and
Sebastian “You are
three men of sin”
Prospero sends Ariel
to stop a plot by
Caliban, Trinculo
and Stephano
Prospero promises
that - if his plot
works - he will stop
his magic
Prospero makes a
magic ring, and Ariel
brings Alonzo,
Antonio, Sebastian
and Gonzalo
The four men are
sorry, and Prospero
forgives them;
Alonzo makes him
Duke of Milan.
The sailors turn up
and tell everybody
that the boat is OK
and they can all go
home.
Caliban realises he
has been an ‘ass’ and
goes off to earn
Prospero's
forgiveness.
