Parents, Guardians & Guests Expectations Graduation is a “Rite of Passage” for both students and families. Every graduating student has achieved a milestone in their lives by earning a high school diploma. Every student has been supported by family and community alike; therefore, graduation at Skyline High School should be looked at as a community celebration for all of our graduates. Please adhere to the following parent and guest expectations during graduation at all times: All parents, guardians and guests are to stay within designated seating areas only. Please do not attempt to go onto the graduation seating field/area before, during or after graduation. All parents, guardians and guests are not to cross the white fences and not enter areas designated for our graduates. All parents, guardians and guests are expected to follow the directions of school chaperones and school personnel. All parents, guardians and guests should not bring any item (i.e. balloons and umbrellas) that will block another person’s view of the graduation ceremony. All parents, guardians and guests should stay in their seats through the entire graduation ceremony as each graduate deserves the attention of the entire school community. All parents and guests shall meet their graduate on the Skyline High School football field after the recessional of the graduates. All parents, guardians and guests shall not enter the baseball field after the recessional because graduates will be picking up their diplomas. Please respect the graduates’ time and space on the baseball field as this is the last opportunity for them bond and share their farewells. Once again, this is an exciting time for students, parents, guardians and the staff of Skyline High School. Please let us know if you have any questions about graduation. We will be glad to assist you. Congratulations Class of 2013!
