The venue is up the hill from the Whitby Train Station.
You walk out the train station, turn left and go up the hill for over
quarter of a mile (about 20 minutes walk). Turn onto Upgang Lane
over the roundabout and it is behind the garage. The Conservative
Club shares its car park with the ESSO garage and the buildings
are next door to each other. If you are driving to Whitby from the
North on the A174 the drive through Whitby town centre and up
the hill. When the A174 emerges into the (A171) at Upgang lane

take a first left on the roundabout and park the car on the road.
Walk back to the roundabout take a left and walk 50 yards into the
ESSO garage. If you are driving from the South via the A169 turn
right onto the A171 and stop at the ESSO garage at the top of
Upgang lane. The venue is behind the garage and easy to see. DO
NOT PARK IN THE GROUNDS OF THE PETROL STATION which
is the same as the Conservative Club grounds or they will charge a
fine of £5 or £10. Plenty of free parking space on road touching
roundabout for which is behind about 25 feet below the venue.
