Space Marine Special Rules Summary
Codex Astartes Space Marine armies have a strategy rating of 5.
All Space Marine and Titan Legion formations have an initiative rating of 1+.
Imperial Navy aircraft formations have an initiative rating of 2+.
…And They Shall Know No Fear: It takes two Blast Markers suppress a Space Marine unit, or kill a broken unit. Space Marine
Formations break when they have twice as many Blast Markers as units. Space Marines take ½ the hits from losing assault, rounding
DOWN. Count ½ the Blast Markers for assault resolution rounding DOWN. When a broken Space Marine Formation rallies, it
receives as many Blast Markers as units. Space Marine units with the Leader special ability remove 2 Blast Markers instead of 1
A Maximum of one third of the total points of the army may be spent on Imperial Navy or Titan formations.
Formations with “plus transport” in their listing include enough Rhinos to carry the entire formation, plus any upgrades, included in
their points cost. These Rhinos may be omitted if you wish to garrison the unit or transport it in a Thunderhawk or Landing Craft.
They may also be replaced with a Drop Pod for free, but in this case you must take a Strike Cruiser or Battle Barge.
Upgrades may only be taken once per formation.
