What is a GENERAL elective?
 Any University College course in which the necessary prerequisites have
been fulfilled with the following subject code:

 Education courses may NOT be taken to fulfill general electives unless you
are enrolled in the Quest program.
What is a FREE elective?
 Any undergraduate course in which pre-requisites are met.
 Education courses may NOT be taken to fulfill free electives unless you are
enrolled in the Quest program.
 If you wish to take an HRTM course to fulfill a free elective, you must meet
with the HRTM advisor for pre-approval.
What is a LAB Science and/or ENVIRONMENTAL Science?
 A lab science is any science that is recommended for non-science majors
that has an integrated lab.
 Only certain lab science courses are considered environmental sciences (these
courses are denoted with an asterisk below). Also, an environmental science can
fulfill a lab science requirement on the College of Business check sheet.
 The following lab science courses are being offered this Spring 2010
semester:

BIOL 1105/ BIOL 1115: The Human Environment*
BIOL 1106/ BIOL 1116: Over the Counter Drugs*
CHEM 1118/ CHEM 1119: Forensic Science*
PHYS 1125/ PHYS 1025: Astronomy
(* indicates the lab science which is also an environmental science course)
Remember to include the LAB as well as the LECTURE when
filling out your registration forms.
