When we started looking for a dressage oriented stallion to campaign in open competitive dressage and to stand
stud to our mares and in the near future become another valuable stallion for those breeders seeking the type of
movement and gaits necessary to be successful in dressage we looked to the pedigree first.
Gaucho III

Gaucho III is certainly one of the most important stallions ever to leave Spain. Bred by Senorio de Bariain and
a Best Movement winner at SICAB, he was an accomplished dressage stallion having competed to Grand Prix.
His accomplishments include; U.S. Region III Prix St. Georges Champion, Intermediare Freestyle Champion
and he twice qualified for the “Festival of Champions” at the U.S. Equestrian Team competitions at Gladstone
and at Devon.
Gaucho III and Invasor II are half-brothers; being sired by Panadero VIII; Invasor II having represented Spain
twice in Olympic dressage competition, bringing home the Bronze medal in 2000 and Silver in 2004. He also
won a bronze in the WEG games in 2002.
Pedigree Background of Gaucho III:
Gaucho is a son of Panadero VIII, a SICAB Best Movement winner and sire of Gaucho III and Invasor. Both
stallions are descendants of Lebrijano III. Lebrijano’s sire is Agente, regarded by many to be the prototypical
Spanish Stallion. Agente’s father (Lebrijano’s grandsire), was the famous Maluso. Maluso and Agente were
famous for their forward movement, cadence and impulsion, which they passed on to their offspring. Lebrijano
was a brother to Leviton, Jecomias and Jenson, three of the premier breeding stallions of modern Andalusian
history. The Lebrijano line is highly valued in Spain and the U.S. for dressage oriented breeders.
