Experience and efficiency in performing various kinds of surgery related to:
1. Thyroid gland:
i. Hemithyroidectomy, total thyroidectomy, completion total
thyroidectomy, Sistrunk’s operation, excision of retrosternal and
mediastinal goiter
ii. Various combinations of lymph node dissections alone or in
combination with thyroid surgery viz., central compartment lymph
node dissection, modified radical neck dissection, selective lymph
node dissection, mediastinal lymph node dissection
iii. Associated great vessel thrombectomy
iv. Associated tracheostomy

v. Different approaches (cervical, median sternotomy, endoscopic)
2. Parathyroid gland:
i. Minimally invasive parathyroidectomy, unilateral or bilateral
exploration for parathyroid glands, excision of parathyroid adenoma,
subtotal or total parathyroidectomy with or without autotransplantation,
ii. en bloc resection for parathyroid carcinoma
3. Adrenal gland:
i. Open or minimally invasive adrenalectomy (laparoscopic,
retroperitoneoscopic), unilateral or bilateral
ii. Excision of related paraganglioma
4. Endocrine pancreas gland:
i. Enucleation, median pancreatectomy, distal pancreatectomy, subtotal
pancreatectomy, pancreaticodeodenectomy along with intestinal
anastomosis for endocrine tumors
5. Thymus gland:
i. Thymectomy (trans-sternal, cervical, video-assisted)
6. Breasts:
i. Excision or wide local excision of lump, microdochotomy, reduction
mammoplasty, breast conservation surgery
ii. Mastectomy (simple, subcutaneous, modified radical)
iii. Axillary lymph node dissection, sentinel lymph node biopsy

iv. Brachytherapy catheter placement, totally implantable venous access
device insertion
v. Oncoplastic procedures (latissimus dorsi flap reconstruction,
augmentation mammoplasty, batwing’s mastopexy)

Benign breast diseases- all types

Breast cancer syndromes- BRCA 1 and BRCA 2 mutations, Li Fraumeni syndrome,
etc.

Endocrine syndromes- all types like- MEN1 syndrome, MEN2 syndromes, VHL
syndrome, Carcinoid syndrome, Carney’s complex, Li Fraumeni syndrome etc.

Management of all endocrine diseases, e.g.- Pheochromocytoma, Cushing’s
syndrome, virilizing syndromes, feminizing syndromes, hyper and hypothyroidism,
thyroid nodules, primary, secondary and tertiary hyperparathyroidism, diabetes
mellitus, all kinds of neuroendocrine tumors etc.
Apart from endocrine and breast surgery, I am able to perform all kinds of general
surgery and head and neck oncosurgery. Few are highlighted:
