MSHP Residency Research PGY-1 and PGY-2 Award 2015
The MSHP Outstanding Resident Research Award is presented to a pharmacy resident in recognition
of outstanding resident research. All PGY-1 & PGY-2 residents who are members of MSHP are
eligible to apply. Following a thorough review, two finalists from both groups are selected by the
Residency Research Award Committee to present their research at the MSHP Annual Meeting. The
finalists are selected on the basis of: 1) project originality and innovativeness; 2) impact to the
institution and to Health-System pharmacy; 3) ability to incorporate the idea at other practice sites
(e.g. regional and metro sites, inpatient and outpatient); 4) impact on patient care; and 5) quality of
the written submission. We hope you will join us for the finalists’ research project presentations on
day 1 of the meeting, April 23rd 2015 between 4:00-5:00 PM. As an audience member you can cast
your vote to help determine the award recipient. The award recipient will be announced during the
Awards Ceremony on Friday, April 24th 2015.
