Artists across the city will open their studios to present Open Studio Tours.
There will be a welcoming reception hosted by Arts United Fall River in the Lobby of 1 West Street.
All the Trolleys will originate from 1 West Street and shuttle attendees to the other locations. There is parking at all locations for those
that wish to travel by car.
Maps of studios and trolley route will be available at locations listed above.
Come and enjoy a day of artistic culture from performances to open rehearsals by Spindle City Ballet and On Stage Production. Art

Fall River Historical Society
An exhibition and silent auction of works by noted regional artists to benefit the Fall River Historical Society.
This exhibition features an impressive collection of unique works in various mediums, all created on 5” x 7” panels or canvases by
professional regional artists. The artwork, donated to the Society, will be offered for sale during the month of December using a “Silent
Auction” format, with an opening bid set at one half of the artist’s value. Bids may be placed at any time during exhibition hours. A
complete gallery of works can be viewed beginning November 26 by visiting the Society’s website, www.fallriverhistorical.org.

Following the celebration of a Memorial Mass, a large evergreen is decorated with lights in memory/in honor of your loved ones. You can

The Fall River Carousel Lions Club “Pancake Breakfast with Santa”
Santa will sit in the historic McQuirr’s chair and children can climb up the old steps to visit him at the Fall River Carousel
Lions Club Breakfast with Santa.
The pancake breakfast will be held at St. John’s Club, 1365 Rodman St., on Sunday, Dec. 12, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Parents and grandparents can photograph children in the same chair where they visited Santa in the McQuirr’s store.
Children can eat pancakes and listen to a DJ, participate in crafts, get their faces painted and go home with free gifts.
Tickets are $5 each for adults and children. Children younger than 1 are admitted free.

A Workshop for Fall River Historical Society Friends and Members
Shimmering silk scarves in a rainbow of colors – stunningly beautiful! And, to think, you created them yourself.
Conducted by master dyer Rhonda Fazio of Dyer Maker Studio in New Bedford,
This workshop is specifically designed to allow you to create wearable art ideal for holiday gift giving – or to wear yourself. Each
participant will receive
three silk scarves of different sizes to design, using the ancient techniques of Japanese shibori and the art of natural dyeing.
Each piece will be your own unique creation!
So you don’t think you’re artistic enough? With Rhonda as a coach, you’ll be amazed at what you can do – her obvious love for her craft
is contagious and, with her engaging personality, you’ll be won over and designing before you know it! So come ready to learn and have
lots of fun while being creative. And be sure to dress to dye!
During this fun and informative workshop, you’ll learn about the techniques of dyeing, tidbits of its history, and the fascinating world of
natural dyes – from cochineal to lapis to onionskins – their origins are amazing! And, along with the informative and very informal
banter, tasty refreshments will be served. What better combination is there? – great fun, food, and silk … all in an artist’s studio!
