Request for Qualifications and Proposal
Due: Thursday April 14, 2011 – 2:00 pm
The City of Bridgeport, acting through its Office of Planning and Economic Development
(OPED) is seeking informal Competitive Proposals and Written qualifications from Planning
Specialists and Planning Project managers to (1) organize the Mill Hill NRZ Planning
Committee and analyze data collected from the Mill Hill Neighborhood Revitalization
Committee, community stakeholders, City Staff and Consultants; (2) conduct bi-monthly
meetings, two workshops and a neighborhood charrette; (3) organize the data and create
the Mill Hill Neighborhood Revitalization Zone Strategic Plan describing all Planning issues
including but not limited to, future plans and solutions, identification of prioritized economic
development, Housing and Community development, related infrastructure projects and (4),
utilization of identified community indicators that dovetail with the new City of Bridgeport
Master Plan and (5) manage and administer the process to its conclusion in the form of an
approved final draft of the Mill Hill Neighborhood Revitalization Zone Strategic Plan.
