LET’S SING A CAROL

Chorus:

Let’s sing a carol.

Let’s sing a Christmas carol

With “fum, fum, fum,” and “fa la la,”

A carol fun and bright!

Let’s sing a carol.

Let’s sing a Christmas carol.

Ev’ryone, let’s gather ‘round and sing a song tonight!

Verse 1:

Deck the hall with boughs of holly,

Fa la la la la la la la la.

“Tis the season to be jolly,

Fa la la la la la la la la.

Don we now our gay apparel,

Fa la la la la la la la la.

Troll the ancient yuletide carol,

Fa la la la la la la la la.

Verse 2:

Jingle bells! Jingle bells! Jingle all the way!

Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh!

Jingle bells! Jingle bells! Jingle all the way!

Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh!

Verse 3:

Up on the housetop reindeer pause;

Out jumps good ol’ Santa Claus.

Down through the chimney with lots of toys,

All for the little ones, Christmas joys.

Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn’t go?

Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn’t go?

Up on the housetop, click, click, click,

Down through the chimney with good St. Nick!

NES GADOL HAYA SHAM

Long ago in ancient times, a lamp was burning bright.

Miracle of miracles, it lasted for eight nights.

Nes Gadol Haya Sham, Nes Gadol Haya Sham,

Nes Gadol Haya Sham, Nes Gadol Haya Sham.

Ev’ry year for Hanukkah, the candle light will glow.

Celebrate the miracle that happened long ago!

Nes Gadol Haya Sham, Nes Gadol Haya Sham,

Nes Gadol Haya Sham, Nes Gadol Haya Sham.

One great miracle happened there;

Bringing hope where there was despair.

Oil was sanctified, goodness glorified,

So the story goes.

So this day I give to you a dreidl from my heart.

So you’ll know with faith and love, this wooden toy’s small part.

Nes Gadol Haya Sham, Nes Gadol Haya Sham,

Nes Gadol Haya Sham, Nes Gadol Haya Sham.

Nes Gadol Haya, Nes Gadol Haya, Nes Gadol Haya Sham.

DECORATE THE CHRISTMAS TREE

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree,

How lovely are thy branches.

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree,

How lovely are thy branches.

We’re gonna decorate the Christmas tree,

Dress it all in colors bright.

Making sure it’s covered in ornaments

And hit it with a string of lights.

And then on top we’ll hang a star,

The brightest one you’ll ever see.

So, hurry up, come on over, ev’ryone,

We’re gonna decorate the Christmas Tree.

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree.

How lovely are thy branches.

Grandma’s got a very special ornament,

One we always hang just right.

I can see a present wrapped in ribbons of gold,

And a popcorn garland of white.

Oh, what fun! Oh, what a sight!

There’s no better place to be!

So, hurry up, come on over, ev’ryone,

We’re gonna decorate the Christmas tree!

So, hurry up, come on over, ev’ryone,

We’re gonna decorate the Christmas tree!

Oh yeah!

ALWAYS BELIEVE

For some, this is a season of hope.

For some this is a season of faith.

For others, it’s a season so full of dreams

And wishes that they long to come true.

And there are those who just enjoy the winter snow

And all the beauty nature can bring.

And many share the love of fam’ly and friends

And show it with the things they do.

Always believe

In what your heart is telling you.

Always believe,

Let it guide you in all that you do.

And in this season, there’s a wonderful reason

To share ourselves and all that we are.

Always believe

And believe the love that’s deep in your heart.

Did you know that there’s a single thread

That connects us all, one by one?

And this thread of love, of faith, of hope,

Creates a strong and beautiful bond!

Always believe

In what your heart is telling you.

Always believe,

Let it guide you in all that you do.

And in this season, there’s a wonderful reason

To share ourselves and all that we are.

Always believe

And believe the love that’s deep in your heart.

Believe the love that’s deep in your heart.

LIKE DIAMONDS IN THE NIGHT

C. 2013 Plank Road Publishing, Teresa Jennings

Lights on the trees, lights on the wreaths,

Lights in the town square.

Lights on the houses, in the cities,

Lights are ev’rywhere.

Twinkling lights all glowing.

Sparkling magic showing.

See the lights like diamonds in the night.

Sparkling brightly, giving us their light.

Like diamonds in the night.

Like diamonds in the night.

Lights in the school, lights on the stores,

Lights in the town park.

Lights on all faces, in all places,

Breaking through the dark.

Twinkling lights all glowing.

Sparkling magic showing.

See the lights like diamonds in the night.

Sparkling brightly, giving us their light.

See the lights like diamonds in the night.

Sparkling brightly, giving us their light.

Like diamonds in the night.

Like diamonds in the night.

Like diamonds in the night.

(parts 1 & 2):

Like diamonds in the night.

Like diamonds in the night.

(part 3):

Like diamonds in the night.

Like diamonds in the night.

Like diamonds in the night.

Like diamonds in the night.

Like diamonds in the night.

Like diamonds in the night.

Like diamonds in the night.

Like diamonds in the night.
