Parents’ Evening
The first parents’ consultation evening will take place on Wednesday 15th October from 3.15 pm – 6.30 pm.
No Pens day Wednesday 15th October
No Pens Day encourages all schools to put down their pens and pick up their language by spending one day
focusing on learning through speaking and listening. We believe that of all the skills we develop at school, the
ability to communicate effectively is one that has the most profound and potentially positive impact on our lives.
The Halloween Disco will take place on Thursday 23rd October
Foundation Stage 2 and Key Stage 1: 4.00pm – 5.00 pm
Key Stage 2: 5.15 pm – 6.15 pm
Half-term holiday
Pupils leave school on Thursday
the 23rd October and return on Monday 3th November
at 8.45 am.
Attendance
Can I remind you that The Governors of Adelaide Primary School can no longer authorise a pupil’s absence from
school. If you take a holiday during term-time you will be fined! The Government, Local Authority and school are
determined to improve attendance at Adelaide Primary School and I know that all parents will support the school in
this matter.
Thank you for your continued support. Your suggestions on how to improve the school are much
appreciated.
