Fee to be paid in full at time of breeding unless prior arrangements have
been made. If fee is not paid in cash at the time of breeding the following
is agreed upon in lieu of cash value: _______________________________

The following is understood and agreed to by the owner/leaser of
forenamed bitch:
____ 1. The following shall be provided to the stud dog owner prior to
breeding:
A. A complete pedigree of not less than 4 generations.
B. Copy of AKC registration certificate and copies of certificates
of any titles earned.
C. A clear color standing photo of the bitch.
D. Proof of eye exam, OFA hip, any other health certifications,
current negative Brucelosis test, current vaccines, current
worming and bitch is to be flea free.
E. If bitch has fleas, flea treatment will be given prior to breeding
at the expense of the owner/lease of bitch, cost $15.00.
____ 2. Owner/leaser of bitch will be responsible for any and all
shipping, and expenses.
____ 3. If Artificial insemination is to be done any and all veterinary
expenses to be paid by owner/lease of bitch. If chilled or frozen
semen is to be used the owner/leaser of bitch understands that
any and all semen collection and shipping costs will be paid
prior to shipping of semen.
____ 4. Owner/leaser of bitch agrees to keep bitch confined and away
from any and all other males to prevent her from being bred by
any other dog.
A. If such should happen NO repeat breeding shall be given.
B. Stud dog owner will sign NO litter application unless pup is
proven to be from stud dog via DNA certification. DNA fees
to be paid by owner/leaser of bitch.
C. There shall be NO refund of any monies paid.
D. If pick of the litter or other puppies back was agreed upon in
lieu of cash payment, the owner/lease of the bitch shall
immediately pay 50% of the “Cash Value” of the stud service
or have DNA testing done on all pups so identity and
selection of pups owed for can be determined.
E. If something other than puppy or puppies back was agreed
upon in lieu of cash payment, the owner/leaser of the bitch
shall still be responsible for providing this to the stud owner.
____ 5. The stud dog owner will be notified within 48 hours of litter
being whelped or within 1 week after due date if no pups are
whelped.
____ 6. Tails will be docked (if not naturally bobbed to an acceptable
length) and all dewclaws are to be removed within 5 days of
whelping.
____ 7. Pups that have obvious birth defects or congenital faults will be
culled. This includes but is not limited to: missing legs, internal
organs on the outside of body, cleft palate.
_____ 8. Pups with unacceptable color (any black in the coat, black
pigmet on the nose, eye rims, mouth or on any other part of the
body). Mis-marked tri-colored (as described in the American
Brittany Standard) will be sold on spay/neuter contracts with
AKC limited registration only.
____ 9. A descriptive record (color, markings, sex, tail length etc.) and
photo of any and all pups that are culled or die prior to the stud
dog owner viewing the litter will be provided to the owner of the
stud dog.
____10. Bitch owner/leaser agrees to take proper care of bitch and
puppies to ensure their health and nutrition. This care includes
but is not limited to: proper diet, adequate proper housing,
worming as necessary, vaccinations at generally prescribed ages
and proper socialization.
____11. NO offspring from this breeding will be offered for sale through
any pet shop, grooming parlor, resale outlet, humane
organization or any other kennel. The owner/leaser of the bitch
shall pay a penalty in the amount of $9 00.00 to the owner of
the stud dog, for each pup offered for sale in breach of this
condition.
____12. If stud dog owner must take legal action to enforce any part of
this contract, owner/leaser of bitch will be responsible for ALL
costs incurred therein and will be bound by the laws of the State
of Washington.
The following is understood and agreed to by the owner of forenamed stud
dog:
____ 1. The following shall be provided to the bitch owner/leaser at time of
breeding:
A. A complete pedigree of not less than 4 generations.
B. Copy of AKC registration certificate and copies of certificates
of any titles earned.
C. A clear color standing photo of the stud dog.
D. Proof of eye exam, OFA hip & elbow, current brucelosis and
copies of any other health related certificates such as DNA
ectera.
____ 2. Owner of stud dog shall keep bitch confined while visiting the stud
dog and assure that she is not bred to any other stud dog.
____ 3. Owner of stud guarantees 2 live pups of normal acceptable color,
unless bitch has previously produced a litter of less than 2 normal
colored pups. In which case 1 pup of normal color is guaranteed.
If bitch has produced a litter of less than 2 normal colored live
pups previously, stud dog owner will be informed of this prior to
breeding.
A. If less than guaranteed number of pups or no pups are
produced,a repeat breeding will be given with no additional stud
fee. Any other expenses as listed in items 1,2, &3 of bitch
owner/lease agreement will be paid by owner/lease of bitch.
B. If pups die due to birth trauma, a repeat breeding will be
given at ½ of original stud service fee. Repeat breeding will be
on bitch’s next heat cycle.
C. If no pups result or less than guaranteed number is whelped
on repeat breeding no further stud services shall be rendered
unless an additional stud fee is paid.D. If cash fee has been
waived on first breeding it will be paid prior to any repeat
breeding and will be refunded only if repeat breeding is unable
to satisfy conditions set forth in the original agreement.
____ 4. There shall be no substitution of bitch after first breeding, the
following being the only exceptions:
A. Death of original bitch.
B. Bitch having to be spayed to prevent her death. Statement
from attending veterinarian and spay certificate from same
veterinarian to be given to owner of stud prior to accepting
substitution bitch.
C. If substitution conditions have been met all other conditions set
forth in items 1,2, &3 will be met prior to breeding.
D. Regardless of results, only 1 (one) breeding will be given.
____ 5. Owner of stud will board bitch for a period up to 5 days after last
breeding has taken place after which time owner/leaser of bitch
will be responsible for paying boarding fees at the rate of $10.00
per day. Board bill if any will be paid prior to the release of bitch.
Bitches that have been shipped from out of state shall be given 7
days before a Boarding fee will be charged as previously
described.
____ 6. Owner of stud will sign AKC litter applications after items 1-10 of
the bitch agreement are fulfilled.
____ 7. Owner of stud will refer prospective puppy buyers to the bitch
owner/leaser after the puppies reach 7 weeks of age.
The undersigned recognize this to be a legal binding contract and will act as
such. The owner/leaser of bitch further agrees that he/she has read and
understands all conditions of this contract and has received a copy of the
same. Any changes are to be made in writing and agreed upon and signed
by all parties involved. No guarantees are given or implied other than those
set forth in this contract. It is further agreed that all owners, co-owners, and
or leasers have signed this contract. It is understood that only signature of
one owner or co-owner is required for stud dog.
