July 5 2015 Oaklands Loop De Loop
A loop starting and finishing at Oaklands Railway Station, mostly on designated bikeways and
minor roads via city parkland trails. Flat, with Linear Park undulations. BYO lunch and morning
tea, but there will be opportunity to buy lunch along the way. 40 km. There will be a coffee stop,
probably at the end of the ride.

July 19 2015 Soup & Crusty Roll Lunch Ride.
Meet at the Nth Adelaide Railway Stn., Memorial Dive Nth Adelaide at 10.00am.
Ride to Fulham Gardens to have a soup and crusty roll lunch with cake and coffee and back to the
station. Approx 35 Km. Cost of $3.00

August 2 2015 Southern Vales Ride
Start from McLaren Vale Visitor Information Centre at 10:00am. Alternatively, riders may start
from Seaford Railway Station and meet us on the bike track at the intersection with Victor Harbor
Rd/Martins Rd at 10:15am. A diverse ride to the coast and back to McLaren Vale via Willunga with
some undulations and some dirt (suitable for road bikes). BYO morning tea and option to buy
lunch. 38km plus 10km (return) for Seaford starters.

August 16 2015 Kanmantoo Ride
Start at 10.00 am, Kanmantoo main street adjacent public toilets, about 45km of dirt and hills, very
scenic and sheltered from the worst of the weather. BYO morning tea and lunch, late lunch at
Callington.

August 30 2015 McLaren Vale
Meet at the Noarlunga Railway Station (east side) at 10.00 a.m.
We will head to Moana for morning tea via the Onkaparinga Wetlands. Then to McLaren Vale for
lunch and then return via various trails (not the Veloway) to Noarlunga Railway Station. There are
some hills and a little gravel.The distance will be about 40km.
I recommend that you bring your own lunch and morning tea.

September 13 2015 Amy Gillet Trail Ride
Meet at the Woodside Swimming Pool Carpark (just behind the Library) at 10.00 a.m.
The ride climbs out of the Onkaparinga Valley to Lobethal and hence to Mount Torrens Oval for
lunch. We will return to Woodside along the Amy Gillet Cycle Path.
There are some hills but mainly bitumen roads. Distance about 35 kms.
I recommend that you bring your own lunch.

September 27 2015 St Kilda Ride
10:00am start at Mawson Lakes Interchange, by edge of car park. Check rail timetable for train
times. Ride to St Kilda along roads and paths. (Some dirt). Return via Salisbury to Mawson Lakes.
Lunch at St Kilda Beach. BYO morning tea and BYO lunch or buy at Cafe. Flat 42 kms.

October 11 2015 Mostly Coast
Meet at Seaford station at 10am for a ride back to Brighton hugging the coast where
possible. Mostly bike track with some hills. 40km.
BYO morning tea and lunch. There are no shops and don’t forget daylight saving.
Ride ends at Brighton.

October 25 2015 Hills Ride
10.00am starting at Balhannah Oval, near the CFS shed at the northern end of oval. Some dirt roads.

November 8 2015 Little Para River Ride
Meet at Mawson Lakes Interchange car park at 10am (9.21 train from city).
Mainly flat bitumen, some easy dirt, ~35km. BYO lunch or buy at lunch stop at Parabanks
Shopping Centre.

November 22 2015 Gawler Ride
East of Gawler to Smithfield, bike routes & paths incl. Northern
Expressway- 38 km, lunch buyable at lunch/coffee stop.
Start 10 am in Gawler Central Railway Station car park.
Ends at Smithfield Railway Station.
Ride bike (extra 12 km) or trains between the start/end railway
stations. Magnificent scenery.

December 6 2015 President’s Christmas Ride
The Christmas function is at 28 Shelley Avenue Fulham Gardens, Helen’s home. Cost is $10 for the
lunch. Ride starts 10am and finishes 1pm at Helen’s place.
Ride is from Helen’s to Torrens Linear park to beach front bike lane then up the Westside bikeway
to Parkland Trail then return down the Torrens Linear park to Helens place. It is flat and a 40km
smooth ride.

December 20 2015 Christmas Ride: The Second One
The ride will start at Victoria Square at 10am. We will be doing a shorter ride to Henley Beach and
Glenelg then return to the city for a coffee. Dress up your bike and yourself in Christmas
decorations. (A prize for the best dressed?) A chance to have some fun and exercise before all that
Turkey and Christmas pud.
