About Regal Tanks Ltd. Tidy Steel-Fab
Ltd.
Tidy Steel Fab was incorporated in 1963 and has been owned and managed by
three generations of the Tidy family of Surrey, BC. The company can be dated
back to 1946 when the founder Tom Tidy started a small shop in Surrey. In
2010, after many years in Surrey, Tidy Steel Fab moved the business to a brand
new multi-purpose facility in Chilliwack B.C.
We are now located in the new Progress Way Industrial Park just off Lickman
Road, North of Highway #1. The facility is built on a 5.3 acre property and is
comprised of 3 buildings totalling over 56,000 square feet of production area.
Regal Tanks ltd. under the brand name of Tidy Steel-Fab Ltd. has been
fabricating Tanks for liquid storage including Diesel, Gasoline and Jet Fuel and
other various chemicals. Regal Tanks are sold and distributed throughout North
America.
Tidy Steel Fab products include but is not limited to Structural Steel
Fabrication, Conveyors, Gallery Sections, Hoppers and Bins, Walkways,
Service Station Canopies, Plate work and supplies Pipe Works for the Water
Transmission market.

The
Double Wall Vacuum Monitored Tanks
The "Double Wall Vacuum Monitored" models are a tank within a tank. A
vacuum is drawn in the interstice, (space between the primary and the
secondary tank) causing a void of atmosphere which then may be monitored
with both visual and audible monitoring equipment. This is a very precise
leak detection method that is both rugged and reliable. Even a small
microscopic leak would not go undetected, and in the remote chance a leak
develops, the unaffected wall remains containing the product.
Positive, Continuous Precision Leak Detection System monitors the inner
and outer tanks continuously for leaks. It also enhances the life of the tanks
due to the oxygen free atmosphere the vacuum creates.

The Regal "Enviro-Safe"® Contained Tank Assembly is a combination of a "ULC
Listed Aboveground Horizontal Tank" housed in it's own "Steel Dyking System". The
need for any further dyking or burning has virtually been eliminated, however it is
advised to consult with the authority having jurisdiction if any further environmental or
safety precautions are required.

The Fireguard tanks come in horizontal, vertical, rectangular and
multi-compartment. The tank is built with a lightweight concrete
layer which allows for easy portability. We use epoxy paint which
is durable and requires little maintenance, it will not crack, spall or
weather.
