Bu derste temel genetik kavramların tanımlanması, Mendel genetiği, gen etkileşimleri,
populasyon genetiği, kantitatif genetik, DNA molekülünün yapısı ve fonksiyonu, rekombinant
DNA teknolojisi ve tarımsal biyoteknoloji uygulamaları üzerinde durulmaktadır.
