The Museum of Copenhagen aims to become a known and respected source for the capital's past and a

procedures for excavations, documentation and archaeological finds. A major focus for the coming year's

diverse workforce, with professional and personal development opportunities.

excavation at Gammel Strand – It will also include on-going investigations which the museum undertakes as
part of Danish Museum law Chapter 8 work
 develop, consult and advise authorities and contractors around the investigation, documentation and
preservation of heritage and cultural environments. This will be undertaken by the museum in a qualified
manner, contributing as part of the public debate about Copenhagen as a historical and contemporary city,
using the museum's knowledge of the antiquarian field in the proceedings
