Evidence requirements 2.1 Procedures demonstrated enable the learner to prepare for a Civil Defence emergency. for – evacuation; assembly of emergency survival items; identification of local hazards; turning off power, gas and water; establishing emergency earthquake procedures and flood precautions. Range 2.2 Procedures demonstrated enable emergency services to be contacted during a Civil Defence emergency. 2.3 Techniques demonstrated enable life-threatening situations to be responded to immediately.
