ASCL holds an annual series of regional one-day information conferences where members are
updated on current issues with ASCL officers giving feedback from their meetings and negotiations
with organisations and bodies whose work directly affects all schools including those in the
independent sector. The content is developed to ensure school and college leaders have all the
information they need to make key decisions over the next year.
ASCL works closely with HMC, GSA, the Society of Heads, ISBA and other independent school
organisations and many ASCL members work in the independent sector in a variety of school
leadership positions. ASCL greatly values its independent school members and this information
