This program has been designed for anesthesia faculty, residents, fellows, CRNA’s and medical students
Educational Objectives
After completing this activity, participants should be able to:
 Identify complex anesthesia issues
 Discuss current issues in opinion
 Develop a rational and safe approach to anesthetic management
 Increase familiarity with current patient practice in critical care medicine
 Strengthen the small group sessions to promote continued education and evaluation of the core competencies
in our specialty
 Promote continued understanding of cross-cultural differences and their influence on health beliefs and
behavior

It is policy at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania for individuals who are in a position to
control the content of an educational activity to disclose to the learners all relevant financial relationships that they have

relative to the topic of their presentation. In addition, all faculty were instructed to provide balanced, scientifically
