Why Become a KMOS Member?
By becoming a member of the KMOS-TV family, you will join other central Missourians who
want to make sure that outstanding, commercial-free programming on public television will
continue.
KMOS is your television station. It brings quality national and local programs into your home
for every member of your family. Enriched programs ranging from nature and science to music
and preschool education for people of all ages, cultures and interests to enjoy. KMOS provides
award-winning children’s programs to educate and nurture the minds of children as they grow
and programs that captivate and challenge the minds of your family without violence and
commercial interruption. Your family deserves the best and our mission is to provide you and
your family with the best television programming available throughout central Missouri.
It all happens because of you! Public television is free for every household throughout central
Missouri with a television. KMOS programming is made possible partly through funding from
Central Missouri State University (CMSU), but most importantly through viewer support from
you, your neighbors and community. With increasing state budget cuts, member contributions
are a more critical source of funding every year. We need your help to continue providing the
highest quality programs for your family. Your contribution to support public television is a gift
to your community.
For less than 10 cents per day you can make a difference and help continue quality
educational and entertaining programming for Missouri families throughout the year..
You can become a KMOS member anytime! You can also give a gift membership anytime!
Membership contributions can be made by personal check, credit card (VISA, MasterCard, or
Discover) or right now through our secure online pledge form. CMSU employees may
contribute through payroll deduction. We encourage you to make a pledge today, and if you are
already a current member, please consider making an additional gift pledge.
Your membership contributions are tax deductible as allowed by law. All KMOS members
receive the monthly Central Contact programming guide. Make sure to select your thank-you
gift if pledging online. Thank-you gifts are mailed upon receipt of full pledge payment.
Annual membership levels:
Basic Membership - only $35 and members receive the monthly Central Contact guide and
choice of a KMOS-TV ball cap or coffee mug.
Family Membership – $60, members receive the monthly Central Contact guide, a KMOS-TV
ball cap and KMOS-TV coffee mug. Bump the contribution up to $75, and you will receive a
KMOS-TV Member Card, which provides numerous discounts at restaurants, museums, and
attractions throughout Missouri and the United States!
Friend Membership - $75, members have the option to receive a KMOS-TV Kid’s Club
Membership for up to two children or grandchildren in the family from ages 0-10 and a KMOSTV Member Card, which provides numerous discounts at restaurants, museums, and attractions
throughout Missouri and the United States.
Distinguished Friend Membership - $90, members receive a KMOS-TV blue canvas
embroidered tote bag and a KMOS-TV Member Card, which provides numerous discounts at
restaurants, museums, and attractions throughout Missouri and the United States.
Partner Membership - $120, members receive a KMOS-TV embroidered denim shirt (S-XXL)
and a KMOS-TV Member Card, which provides numerous discounts at restaurants, museums,
and attractions throughout Missouri and the United States.
