1. Shell fabrication techniques
a. 1/3 scale shell showed sufficient bend radius to maintain shape and strength.
b. Draft was sufficient for repeatability at full scale.
c. Fiberglass to metal attachment is sufficiently strong for mounting purposes.
2. Shell physical properties
a. Rigidity is sufficient for internally supported shell.
b. Flexibility will allow looser tolerances in mounting scheme.
3. Shell mounting techniques
a. Any perforation of the shell should have additional reinforcement around areas with high
bearing stress.
