On registration of the candidate for Mayor of Lezhë proposed by the
coalition “European Alliance for Albania"for elections to local
government bodies date 06/21/2015
LEGAL BASIS:
Article 23, point 1, letter "a", article 67, point 2,article 165,point
3,article 72 and article 73 of Law No. 10019, dated 29.12.2008 "The
Electoral Code of the Republic of Albania", amended.
Central Election Commission, after examining the documents submitted by the "Alliance for
European Albania" and heard the discussions of representatives of political parties,

Për regjistrimin e kandidatit për kryetar të Bashkisë Lezhë të propozuar nga
koalicioni “Aleanca për Shqipërinë Europiane”, për zgjedhjet për organet e
qeverisjes vendore të vitit 2015.
With the CEC decision,no.177, dated 27.04.2015, it was registered as an electoral subject for
elections to local government bodies in 2015 "Alliance for European Albania". According to the
coalition agreement "European Alliance for Albania", the chairman of the Socialist Party of
Albania, Mr. Edi Rama will be the person authorized to sign on behalf of the coalition, the
registration requirement for candidates for Mayor.
Pursuant to Article 67, point 2 and article 72 and 165 of Low no.10019,dated 29.12.2008 "The
Electoral Code of the Republic of Albania" coalition "Alliance for European Albania" by the chair of
the Socialist Party of Albania, Mr. Edi Rama, has deposited to the CEC request for the registration
of Mr Viktor Tushaj as a candidate for mayor of Lezha.
Pursuant to Article 67, paragraph 3, the CEC must register candidates for mayor or municipal
council Lezhe, because the Municipality of Leshe, administered by more than one CEAZs.
Attached application has been deposited and relevant documentation, listed as following:
1. Application for registration of Mr. Viktor Tushaj candidate for mayor of lezhe, model –
03k;signed by Mr. Edi Rama
2. Candidate statements which declares that enjoys the right and the will to candidate
For Mayor of the Municipality of Lezhe,proposed by coalicion"Alliance for European
Albania" in elections to local government bodies, dated 06.21.2015;
3. Confirmation of Parliament, no. 1376 prot., Dated 04.10.2015, under which verified that the
Socialist Party Parliamentary Group represented by 65 deputies in the Legislature of 8 (eight)
of the Assembly of the Republic of Albania.
4. Candidate's personal certificate under which results that Mr. Viktor Tushaj is residing in
Municipality of Lezhe.
The Central Election Commission based on Article 73, Paragraph 1 of the Electoral Code, at its
meeting on ...... 2015, verified the documents of candidacy for mayor of the Municipality of
Lezha, deposited by coalition "Alliance for European Albania" and he found that it was in
accordance with the requirements prescribed in Article 67, paragraph 2, Article 165, Article 72
and Article 73 of the Electoral Code.
FOR THE ABOVE REASONS:
The Central Election Commission based on Article 23, paragraph 1, letter or article 67,ponts 2,4,5
and 6 article 72,and article 73,pont 1 of Law nr.10019, dated 29.12.2008 "The Electoral Code of
the Republic of Albania", amended,
DECIDED:
To register Mr.Viktor Mark Tushaj as a candidate proposed by coalicion "Alliance for European
Albania"for council of municipality Lezhe for Elections to Local Government Bodies
date
06/21/2015
This decision comes into effect immediately.
An appeal can be submitted against this decision in the Electoral College, Tirana Appeal Court,
within five days from its publication .
