TARGET AUDIENCE
This program is designed for ophthalmologists and ophthalmology residents in the
New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania areas.
NEEDS STATEMENT
The need for the conference was determined from examining the topics published in
the recent scientific literature. Participants in the course will learn the most current
concepts and practical tips for clinical practice in the following areas: Cataract,
Cornea, Glaucoma, Neuro-Ophthalmology, Ocular Oncology, Oculoplastics, Pediatric
Ophthalmology and Retinal Disease.
OBJECTIVES
As a result of attending this program, participants will learn to:

Manage basic cosmetic oculoplastic issues.

Diagnose and manage eyelid tumors.

Manage pediatric ophthalmic disorders better.

Manage thyroid eye disease.

Manage many different forms of glaucoma.

Select the proper refractive surgical procedures.

Recommend current dry and wet macular degeneration therapies.

Manage glaucoma surgical issues.

Select proper IOL’s for patients undergoing cataract surgery.
