People: O Lord my God, I cried to you for help, and you have healed me. Leader: O Lord, you brought up my soul from the grave, restored me to life from among those gone down to the Pit. Sing praises to the Lord, O you his faithful ones, and give thanks to his holy name. People: For his anger is but for a moment; his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may linger for the night, but joy comes with the morning. *PRAYER OF CONFESSION (In Unison) Holy and merciful God, in your presence we confess our sinfulness, our shortcomings, and our offenses against you. You alone know how often we have sinned in wandering from your ways, in wasting your gifts, in forgetting your love. Have mercy on us, O Lord, for we are ashamed and sorry for all we have done to displease you. Forgive our sins, and help us to live in your light and walk in your ways, for the sake of Jesus Christ, our Savior. It is based on the number of active members in each congregation. Every congregation is expected to pay the Per Capita for the entire year. Our church will pay: $31.00 per Member for 2015 $6,789 for the whole congregation for 2015 Many of you use the Per Capita envelope in your boxes. If you do not have the Per Capita envelope but would like to contribute your portion, you can send a check to the church office with Per Capita written in the memo line. The amount is figured as follows: 1. 2 adult members 2 x $31 = $62.00 2. 2 adult members + one confirmed youth member 3 x $31.00 = $93 3. 1 adult member + 1 confirmed youth member 2 x $31.00 = $62.00 Thank you everyone!
