THE FOLLOWING CRITERION MUST BE MET BEFORE STUD DOG OWNER
AGREES TO PROVIDE STUD SERVICES TO ABOVE BITCH:
1) Must be at least two years of age.
2) Provide current copies of Hip, Elbow, Eye, Heart clearances from
OFA/CERF including copy of eye report.
3) Any disqualifying faults as defined by the AKC breed standard for
Golden Retrievers must be disclosed in writing (see Special Provisions).
4) Be of sound, stable temperament with no history of or inclination to be
quarrelsome or flighty.
5) Be in good health and have received an examination by a state licensed
veterinarian within ten days of being shipped for breeding. The following
must be provided before the breeding will take place:






Negative Brucellosis test within the last six months
Normal Vaginal Exam, preferably cytology
Current shot record including Rabies
Statement of any pertinent medical information
List of any medications routinely administered with specific
instructions for administration (see special provisions)
Regular veterinarian's contact information with authorization to
release information to stud dog owner/stud dog owner’s
veterinarian.
6) Bitch presented for breeding must be clean, free from internal and
external parasites and in good health.
7) A copy of the bitch’s AKC Registration, Pedigree, Clearances, Veterinary
Documents (listed above), microchip number (if available) and one
photograph (copies are fine) to clearly identify the bitch for breeding.
TERMS
The stud dog owner reserves the right to a mutually agreed upon show
quality puppy resulting from the breeding, or payment of the stud fee as
follows.
The stud fee is $ 800.00 USD. The stud fee is non-refundable. A sum of
$400.00 (half) is to be paid prior to the bitch being sent for breeding with
the other $400.00 (half) due upon presentation of the litter registration
papers for the stud dog owner’s signature. All funds must be provided in
the form of a money order or cashier’s check if out of state. No out-of-state
personal checks will be accepted.
I/we guarantee that every effort will be made to obtain at least one natural
breeding provided the bitch will stand cooperatively for breeding. If a
natural tie is not obtained, an artificial insemination may be necessary as
well as progesterone timing and any other tests deemed appropriate to
complete the breeding. The bitch owner will be responsible for all
expenses related to breeding the bitch and will be paid directly to the vet
providing services and diagnostics (Brittmore Animal Hospital).
Three live puppies constitute a litter. A second stud service at
$ 400.00 (half) will be provided to the original bitch, or a mutually agreed
upon alternate bitch, in the event that fewer than three live puppies are
alive upon whelping.
If the bitch fails to conceive, a return service at $ 400.00 (half) will be
optional for the bitch provided the bitch's owner notifies the stud dog
owner within fourteen days after the scheduled whelping date that no
puppies were whelped and provided all clearances are up-to-date at the
time of the repeat service.
All transportation charges, veterinary expenses and any other
miscellaneous expenses related to the breeding of this bitch will be the
responsibility of the bitch’s owner and must be paid in full prior to
transporting the bitch back home. Airport trips to pick up/drop off are $50
each and veterinary trips are $25 each.
There is no charge for boarding the bitch for the first seven days.
Subsequent days will be charged at $12.00 per day. This fee includes food,
water, daily exercise and any necessary grooming/care.
The owner of the bitch warrants that this bitch has not been exposed to any
stud dog prior to her arrival and that she will be protected from such
exposure after her return home.
The owner of the bitch hereby releases Brandye Randermann, Xcelerate
Goldens, or any other members of the stud dog’s household from any and
all liabilities and/or damages to said bitch while in the possession of the
stud dog owner.
Puppies MUST be placed directly into either companion or show homes.
None may be auctioned or sold/given to a broker, wholesaler, pet shop or
overseas client.
Puppies may not be sold to owners residing outside the United States
and/or Canada without the express, written consent of the stud dog owner.
NO EXCEPTIONS!
All companion puppies resulting from this breeding must be sold on AKC
Limited Registration with a mandatory spay/neuter agreement by 12
months of age.
All show/breeding puppies resulting from this breeding must be sold with a
contract stipulating that they must be at least two years of age prior to
breeding, a reasonable attempt at titling the dog and have obtained final
hip, elbow, heart and eye clearances from OFA/CERF prior to breeding.
Bitch owner agrees to provide to the stud dog owner a copy of the litter
record including each owner’s name, address, telephone number for each
puppy resulting from this breeding upon presentation of litter registration.
Bitch owner agrees to provide “service after the sale” to all puppy buyers
including assisting with the return/re-homing of any puppies in the event
that the original purchaser can no longer provide for or house puppies
resulting from this breeding in an appropriate manner.
Bitch owner agrees that at no time will this bitch be sold, traded or given
away to a third party while carrying puppies as a result of this breeding.
REMEDY
Should it be determined that the terms and restrictions outlined under this
contract have not been fully adhered to by the owner(s) of the bitch named
herein, they will be subject to a $5,000 fine in addition to any proceeds from
the sale of puppies resulting from this breeding. Additionally, any court
costs associated with the enforcement of this contract by the stud dog
owner shall be the responsibility of the bitch owner(s).
ACCEPTANCE
This contract shall be deemed a legally binding contract and is under the
jurisdiction of the State of Texas, Waller County. It is further agreed that, in
the event of any legal dispute regarding this agreement, the venue shall be
Waller County.
