To investigate problems and identify potential options for resolution. Once the solution is agreed, to implement and monitor corrective action. To be part of a team of technical specialists to investigate and resolve complex environment wide problems ensuring all issues and dependencies in relation to the data warehouse and taken into account. To support the users of the data warehouse by resolving problems and issues, and providing advice and guidance, particularly with respect to efficiency of queries. To work with other in-house development specialists on data warehouse design and appropriate query mechanism to minimise performance issues.
