Evaluation Process:
Students must participate in online forums that
discuss intellectual property, privacy, and
technology in a global context, demonstrating
knowledge of relevant issues and evaluating the
ethical consequences of policies and/or actions.
Minimum Criteria for Success:
Minimum participation (equivalent to a grade of C)
is one post (with reference) and one response (with
reference) per forum, plus reading and ranking
other forum entries. Forum posts must discuss an
issue related to the forum topic, including a link to
reference article(s). Forums are not about student
opinions, but rather are to highlight current ethical
issues and trends involving technology.
Sample:

discusses professional responsibilities in a global
context by using the ACM and/or IEEE codes of
professional standards to evaluate the actions of
participants in specific cases.
Minimum Criteria for Success:
