Feudalism Children’s Book Project Name: _______________________ Date: _______________ Feudal Social Class= ___________________ Introduction: Using the information you collected last week, you must create a children’s book that explains the feudal system. Below you will find a list of information that must be contained in your book. Your book must be fully illustrated (symbolism) and contain easy-to-understand written explanations of the feudal system. Rubric: The rubric for this assignment is on the back of this sheet. You will only be given one copy of these directions and the rubric. This sheet must be turned in with your final project. When you give your completed book to Mr. Pennington, this sheet must be stapled to back. I will not grade your project without a rubric. Extra rubrics are available on Mr. Pennington’s website. **Late projects and/or rubrics will lose 5 points a day for every day past the due date** Written work and illustrations: This book should be written at a 4th grade level. Take some time to look at the example books Mr. Pennington will show you in class. I will also provide a link to some good 4th grade level books online. Your sentences should be clear and you should use 4th grade language to explain your ideas. Each illustration in your book serves the purpose of visually representing your written information. You must include appropriate symbolism in your illustrations. You are allowed to print pictures or symbols to use in your illustrations. Be creative and think about the imagery you choose to incorporate. All imagery should be school appropriate; see Mr. Pennington if there is any question in your mind whether or not you should use something in your book!
