Thank you for your interest in the Stem Cell training option of the CSULB Biotechnology
Certificate Program.
When applying for admission into the program you must send the following items, together in
one envelope, directly to Dr. Lisa S. Klig, Department of Biological Sciences, CSULB:
1) Completed Stem Cell training application form
2) Current transcript
3) Professional resume including research experience and scientific presentations/publications
4) Letter of recommendation from a research advisor (in a signed sealed envelope)
Once the admissions committee has reviewed all the applications, qualified candidates for the
program will be interviewed. This year the deadline for application is noon on Tuesday January
20, 2015, interviews will be conducted February 16-20, 2015. Admissions decisions will be sent
by Monday March 2, 2015.
