Testimonials
Last month I attended Fox Valley Technical College’s presentation of former coach turned
motivational speaker Coach Bill Yoast. Audiences around the country, from seventy-year-old
retirees to fifteen-year-old kids, along with athletes and non-athletes alike have found Yoast’s
speeches transfixing and inspirational. His charismatic presence, honesty, wit, and Southern
charm have delighted audiences across the country and kept them around long after he is
finished, seeking autographs and a chance to meet him up close. At a time when teamwork,
tolerance, and discipline have moved to center stage in America, Coach Yoast is a perfect
speaker for any occasion.

Both gentlemen (Herman Boone & Bill Yoast) were very great to work with. We had around 400
people show up for their talk. They were funny and enjoyable to listen to. They took time to sign
autographs and take photos afterwards. They were very accommodating. Thanks for another
great lecture.
-Northern Michigan University
It was wonderful and the coaches were wonderful, too. They received standing ovations. I
don't know if I told you but Rick Upchurch (9 years in the NFL and played for the Denver Broncos)
emceed our event. What a line-up! We treated them like “royalty” and we ended our evening
with a dinner at the Country Club. They were very impressed with the details and the hospitality.

Coach Boone and Coach Yoast were great. They had a good message for us and were
gracious with their autographs. Our associates had lots of questions for them and seemed to
enjoy their visit very much. It took us an hour and twenty minutes to get through all the
autographs!

Our event was amazing and it was an honor to have the coaches on our campus. They were
very easy to accommodate and seemed to truly enjoy speaking with our students. We had an
audience of just under 1,000 and I have heard nothing but positive feedback. They really are
inspirational and stayed to sign every autograph and take a picture with everyone that wanted
one. Thank you for your help in arranging this event.

What delightful men for me to host and what motivational speakers for a boys' school. Their
message as you well know is not about football but the setting of their message draws in
students such as ours. I think the boys would rank this as the best of the three speakers to date.
Thank you and your office for the professionalism in handling their booking.

Herman Boone and Bill Yoast were outstanding. We had the largest banquet attendance ever.
Great reviews and concerns about how we top this next year.

It is my distinct pleasure to thank Coach Boone for his participation in the 10th Annual Army
Worldwide Equal Opportunity Advisor Training Conference.
I sincerely appreciate the time and energy he gave to this effort, which was reflected during his
keynote speech. His inspiring and motivational presentation resonated with positive influence
and the participants received it with enthusiasm.

It was fantastic! Comments such as "never before have I attended a Southern Region
Conference with two great speakers who complimented each other so well!" were heard and
we are still getting cards and calls with similar expressions. I would recommend them to anyone.
-Southern Region Conference
Coach Yoast is wonderful! What a charming and interesting man! We had only a few empty
seats in the room - I set for more than I projected, but we filled some of those extra seats. The
timing of this presentation couldn't have been more perfect. We showed the movie before the
Coach arrived and his comments on teamwork, diversity, leadership and organizational success
were spot on. He was also very gracious to hang out after the presentation and sign a few
autographs. I was particularly taken with the fact that he spent quite a bit of time with the
younger members of our staff. We have a good number of unpaid interns from colleges and
universities around the US and they just flocked to him after the presentation. What a
gentleman. Thanks again for all of your help.

Coach Yoast is a wonderful speaker. His humor and passion was evident. His comments could
not have been more perfect and spot on if we had coached him ourselves. If our staff took just

one thing away from the experience, which we feel they did and as the Coach suggested, it
was a huge success.
We were taken with the time that he spent with the youngest members of our staff. They flocked
to him at the end of the presentation and it is a testament to the Coach’s character and
philosophy that they are drawn to him and he continues to inspire the younger generation.

I once had the privilege of playing Bill Yoast in a movie. That’s an uncommon way to get to
know someone. I was very fortunate to be able to play someone I liked and admired.
I remember meeting him and feeling that he was like someone in my “real life” family. Who he
was as a man really made me want to do right by him in my portrayal.
I learned something from Bill Yoast. I learned about how people who work heroically, often work
with a power that at the time is almost invisible. But I think that those people who work quietly
and in a way that doesn’t call attention to themselves, often are the people we end up
remembering and who really make a difference in our lives.
I think Bill Yoast understands what real sacrifice is and has been a somewhat hidden and truly
humble hero. I am sure he doesn’t even know how much he has meant to people.
He is a hero of mine. I’m proud to know him and to be a friend of his.
