Teachers will learn how to motivate students, how to use technology in their lessons, and how to design a syllabus. The course will also show them how to cope with large classes, how to test students, and how to implement task-based learning. Studying alongside other English language teachers will improve their teaching communication skills. Target Groups Current Trends: Theory and Practice in English Language Teaching is a special teacher development short course for English language teachers. It is aimed at teachers working in the UK or overseas whose first language is not English. It is required that teachers should have good standard of Cambridge Advanced Certificate (CAE) or C1 of the Common European Framework.
