Yearly determination of HQ per assignment for K-12 teachers certified pre-Sept, 1987
Satisfactory evaluation in core academic subject areas, plus
 First observation occurs within first 20 school days of assignment, or (if evaluation was
satisfactory in prior year’s assignment in this core academic subject) first observation is
within first 90 school days, and
 Record of GLE(s) and/or EALR(s) addressed and observed
Yearly determination of HQ per assignment for endorsed teachers certified since 1987
Completion of plan of assistance (formerly WAC 180-82-110, now WAC 181-82-110)

