These are typically made from Cu Be 2 tubing rolled flat and formed into either a flat spiral or the normal Bourdon (‘C’) shape. A small internal volume is important. Examples: (a) Tube Width: 16mm Tube Thickness: 2mm (Wall Thickness: Approx. 1mm) Diameter: 70mm approx. (‘C’ shape) (b) Tube Width: 9.5mm Tube Thickness: 2.4mm (Wall Thickness: Approx. 1.2 mm) Outside Diameter: 30mm approx. (Spiral shape) Thankyou for your assistance. Regards, DUNELLEN LTD. We need to order 100 off movements very urgently, together with a selection of tubes and end caps. However, please note the following points: (a) We could not get the gauges calibrated when using the adjustable link : they motion was non – linear ...... link seems too long even when adjusted to the shortest position. (b) We feel that we will probably use the standard link. Unfortunately, the shoulder screw you supply is too large for the standard link: Hole for shoulder screw is too big for link ! (Link is weak) Is there a screw with a smaller diameter shoulder? (c) The adjusting screw on the movement is on the wrong side (facing forward) for our assembly / calibration process. Can this be reversed so that we can adjust the gauges from the rear of the gauge with the dial in place? ........ if so, the connector on the end cap will be in the wrong position !!! (a) Can you suggest a suitable test gauge pointer for a 200mm diameter gauge ? I am sorry to present you with a list of questions, but we are eager to proceed as we were very pleased with the results we have obtained so far. Kind regards, Ulli, Further to our fax of last week. (a) We have resolved the non – linearity (b) I would still like to discuss points (c) and (d) (20-02-98) (c) Initially, we intend to order the following: 1. 100 pieces Test Gauge Movement Type AN 786 with adjustable link 2. 110 ..
