What our Customers say:
“Dear Library Service, I am writing to tell you how much I enjoyed the Boys into
books you loaned into our school. I thought they were brilliant – I read nine of the
books and they were all fantastic. I would have read more and was disappointed
when the man came and took the books away but will be happy when the new
books arrive in January”
Pupil at Coppice Primary School, Derbyshire
Thank you once again for supplying us with excellent books and resources. The
children have enjoyed using them and visitors and parents always make positive
comments on the displays using artefacts, posters etc……….. You have made my
teaching role so much more interesting and relevant to the pupils”
Hope Primary School, Derbyshire
‘Thank you for a fantastic service; as a small school we appreciate the artefacts
and books as we do not have the money to buy or the space to store! Everything
was exactly geared to the age groups and Ofsted were full of praise when they
were told where we had obtained our treasures! Thankyou for your helpfulness
and courtesy and for the time and patience you all show to give us exactly what we
need.
Stretton Handley School, Derbyshire
“Great artefacts which we managed to use in a variety of cross-curricular ways
including a class assembly.”
Lawn Primary School, Derby
“I found that our children really responded well to the Roman resources you sent
us. It really helped to bring our subject to life. The conceptual difficulties our
children struggle with were bridged by interesting artefacts and costumes. We
even had a visit from a Roman Centurian collecting taxes for repairs to the Roman
fort Derventia”.
St Martin’s School, Derby (Referring to “Meet Paulinius” Roman facilitated
session)
“A good range of artefacts and books – the staff found them most useful”
