The SCOPE of WORK for the MANAGER’S DIVERSITY TOOLKIT
The Office of Institutional Diversity is seeking Diversity and Multi-cultural education providers to develop, administer, and to deploy online web-based Manager’s
Diversity Toolkit to the University of Texas at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center peoplemanagers.
The product will be centered around healthcare, academic, and business professional scenarios.
The product will facilitate an implementation of a diversity strategic plan and programs which focus on attracting, developing, and retaining a diverse workforce.
This product will include diversity-based management related topics that span from the recruitment phase through retention.
This product will be used by people managers such as supervisors and managers that may/may not have knowledge of diversity.
The product will provide several best practice activities, presentations, checklists, resources and helpful tips that will enhance the managers’ and supervisors’ diversity knowledge/skill sets, and their ability to facilitate diversity discussions with their staff.
The product will not address specific diversity dimensions but to provide overall guidance and skills that can span across difference. Specific diversity dimensions can be used as examples to facilitate the learning process.
The product will support and supplement the Office of Institutional Diversity’s training curriculum and consulting services.
We would like to prepare and support managers and supervisors to incorporate diversity into their everyday business activities.
We would like to educate managers around diversity and also build their skills so they can share their diversity knowledge with their staff.
The application should be easy to use, navigate, and intuitive.
The content educational level should be at least 8 th grade.
The text should be provided in English.
Pre and post assessments that measure the effectiveness of the toolkit should be components of this product.
The product should be accessible to all employees via PC and MAC desktops/laptops .

The product will be targeted to the following people-managing audiences such as: Supervisors and Managers that may not have previous diversity knowledge.
The effectiveness of the product will be measured using the following metrics:
Level 1: Reactions - Perceived usefulness of program.
Level 2: Learning - Cognitive / Knowledge and Skills outcome.
The product must contain reporting capabilities that will accurately reflect the partici pant’s activity, usage status, and Level 1 and 2 metrics.

The following key selection factors will be considering when reviewing the proposal.
Administrative capabilities and quality.
Competitive pricing.
Determined by the submission of references and positive reference checks demonstrating th e Contractor’s success potential for similar projects.
Experience in providing the online content as identified in the scope of work.
Responsiveness to M. D. Anderson’s needs through excellent customer service.
Specified technical capabilities.
The ability to add and delete services as needed or as requested.
The ability to comply with the timeline identified by the Office of Institutional Diversity
Workforce Diversity Project Manager.
The ability to tailor online content extracted from off-the-shelf content.
The online content must be AICC and SCORM compliant, with demonstrated ability to seamlessly integrate with the same version of the M.
D. Anderson’s SABA LMS.

The online product(s) must be accessible through an internet connection via PC or MAC desktop/laptop on the following multiple browsers (Internet Explorer and

Each contractor will be scored on the responses provided in the
Proposal, Product Demonstration of (Product Capabilities and Content), and Userability.
M. D. Anderson Cancer Center will require a guest login and password (if applicable) to allow project team members, committee members and select employees the opportunity to experience hands on, content, assessments, evaluation, and ease of course navigation as part of the Userability evaluation during the future demonstration process.
