Commissioned Artworks/Productions/Exhibits: Under-Standing Water Houston, TX September 2010 commissioned by Diverse Works Art to create “After Disaster, which is a sculptural installation is composed of a 4ft x 6ft water faucet made of salvaged wood and materials with over 4,000 postcard photographs pouring from the faucet’s mouth. The photographs are documentation shots from the home of the artist’s mother being rebuilt, and shots of the devastation throughout New Orleans after hurricane Katrina. Guggenheim Museum New York, NY December 2009 commissioned by Works in Process to produce character sculptures for Guggenheim’s annual Peter and the Wolf production. Produced two original artworks, mentored youth participants, and comanaged overall project and installation.
