Frosty the snowman
Frosty the snowman was a jolly happy soul, With a corncob pipe and a button nose
And two eyes made out of coal. Frosty the snowman is a fairytale, they say;
He was made of snow but the children know How he came to life one day.
There must have been some magic In that old silk hat they found,
For when they placed it on his head He began to dance around.
Oh, Frosty the snowman Was alive as he could be And the children say he could laugh and play
Just the same as you and me.
Frosty the snowman knew the sun was hot that day, As he said, ‘Let’s run and we’ll have some
fun Now before I melt away.’
Down to the village, with a broomstick in his hand, Running here and there all around the
square, Sayin’ ‘catch me if you can.’
He led them down the streets of town Right to the traffic cop,
And he only paused a moment when He heard him holler ‘Stop!’
For Frosty the snowman, had to hurry on his way, But he waved goodbye sayin’ ‘Don’t you cry,
I’ll be back again some day.’
Thumpety thump thump, Thumpety thump thump Look at Frosty go,
Thumpety thump thump, Thumpety thump thump, Over the hills of snow.
In the bleak midwinter
In the bleak midwinter, frosty wind made moan, Earth stood hard as iron, water like a stone;
Snow had fallen, snow on snow, snow on snow, In the bleak midwinter, long ago.
Our God, heaven cannot hold Him, nor earth sustain; Heaven and earth shall flee away when
He comes to reign. In the bleak midwinter a stable place sufficed The Lord God Almighty,
Jesus Christ.
Enough for Him, Whom cherubim, worship night and day, A Breastful of milk, and a manger
full of hay; Enough for Him, Whom angels fall before, The ox and ass and camel which adore.
Angels and archangels may have gathered there, Cherubim and seraphim thronged the air;
But only His mother, in her maiden bliss, Worshipped the beloved with a kiss.
What can I give Him, poor as I am? If I were a shepherd, I would bring a lamb;
If I were a Wise Man, I would do my part; Yet what I can I give Him: give my heart.
Jingle bell rock
Jingle-bell, jingle-bell, jingle-bell rock, Jingle-bell swing and jingle-bell ring.
Snowin’ and blowin’ up bushels of fun, Now the jingle hop has begun.
Jingle-bell, jingle-bell, jingle-bell rock, Jingle-bells chime in jingle-bell time.
Dancin’ and prancin’ in Jingle-bell Square, In the frosty air.
What a bright time, it’s the right time To rock the night away.
Jingle-bell time is a swell time To go glidin’ in a one horse sleigh.
Giddy-up, jingle horse, pick up your feet, Jingle around the clock,
Mix and mingle in a jinglin’ beat, That’s the jingle-bell, that’s the jingle-bell,
That’s the jingle-bell Rock!
Jingle bells
Dashing through the snow On a one-horse open sleigh, O’er the fields we go, Laughing all the
way! (Ha, ha, ha!) Bells on bobtail ring, Making spirits bright, What fun it is to ride and sing A
sleighing song tonight. Hey!
Jingle bells, jingle bells, Jingle all the way! Oh, what fun it is to ride In a one-horse open
sleigh!
Jingle bells, jingle bells, Jingle all the way! Oh, what fun it is to ride In a one-horse open
sleigh! Hey!
Now the ground is white, Go it while you’re young, Take the girls tonight And sing this
sleighing song!
Just get a bobtailed bay, Two-forty for his speed, Then hitch him to an open sleigh And
crack! You’ll take the lead. Hey!
Jingle bells …
Let it snow
Oh the weather outside is frightful, But the fire is so delightful,
And since we've no place to go, Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!
It doesn't show signs of stopping, And I've bought some corn for popping,
The lights are turned way down low, Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!
When we finally kiss goodnight, How I'll hate going out in the storm!
But if you'll really hold me tight, All the way home I'll be warm.
The fire is slowly dying, And, my dear, we're still good-bying, But as long as you love me so,
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

Mary’s boy child
Long time ago in Bethlehem So the Holy Bible say
Mary's boy child Jesus Christ Was born on Christmas day
Hark now hear the angels sing A new king born today
And man will live forevermore Because of Christmas day
Trumpets sound and angels sing Listen what they say
That man will live forevermore Because of Christmas day
While shepherds watch their flock by night They see a bright new shining star
Then hear a choir sing The music seemed to come from afar
Now Joseph and his wife Mary Come to Bethlehem that night
Then find no place to born the child Not a single room was in sight
Hark now hear the angels sing A new king born today
And man will live forevermore Because of Christmas day
Trumpets sound and angels sing Listen what they say
That man will live forevermore Because of Christmas day
By and by they find a little nook In a stable all forlorn
And in a manger cold and dark Mary's little boy was born

Rockin around the xmas tree
Rockin’ around the Christmas tree At the Christmas party hop.
Mistletoe hung where you can see, Ev’ry couple tries to stop.
Rockin’ around the Christmas tree, Let the Christmas spirit ring.
Later we’ll have some pumpkin pie And we’ll do some carolling.
You will get a sentimental feeling when you hear Voices singing ‘let’s be jolly,
Deck the halls with boughs of holly!’ Rockin’ around the Christmas tree, Have a happy holiday.
Ev’ryone dancing merrily In the new old fashion’d way.

When a child is born
A ray of hope flitters in the sky A shiny star lights up way up high
All across the land dawns a brand new morn This comes to pass when a child is born
A silent wish sails the seven seas The winds have changed whisperin the trees
And the walls of doubt crumble tossed and torn This comes to pass when a child is born
A rosy fume settles all around Youve got the feel youre on solid ground
For a spell or two no-one seems forlorn This comes to pass when a child is born
Its all a dream and illusion now It must come true, sometimes soon somehow
All across the land dawns a brand new morn This comes to pass when a child is born
All across the land dawns a brand new morn This comes to pass when a child is born
When a child is born
White Christmas
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas , Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten, and children listen , To hear sleigh bells in the snow
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas , With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright , And may all your Christmases be white
Winter wonderland
Sleigh bells ring, are you listening, In the lane, snow is glistening
A beautiful sight, We're happy tonight. Walking in a winter wonderland.
Gone away is the bluebird, Here to stay is a new bird He sings a love song,
As we go along, Walking in a winter wonderland.
In the meadow we can build a snowman, Then pretend that he is Parson Brown
He'll say: Are you married? We'll say: No man, But you can do the job When you're in town.
Later on, we'll conspire, As we dream by the fire To face unafraid, The plans that we've
made, Walking in a winter wonderland.
In the meadow we can build a snowman, And pretend that he's a circus clown
We'll have lots of fun with mister snowman, Until the other kids knock him down.
When it snows, ain't it thrilling, Though your nose gets a chilling
We'll frolic and play, the Eskimo way, Walking in a winter wonderland.
