Great Ocean Road Tour (Every Thur-Fri)
A 2 day tour is a wonderful chance to avoid the crowds at many stops, enjoy beautiful star lit beaches
and really appreciate this magical part of the world. Here is a guide to what you might see and do.
Cost is $255* per adult, $180* per child Meals included are lunch and dinner on day 1
*accommodation is extra (hostel $30, cabin $75per person, motel twin share/dbl $85 per person) All
accommodation subject to availability. Tours can be arranged on other days subject to demand and availability. We
spend more time on the ocean Road than any other 2 day Great Ocean Road tour that runs with scheduled
departures. Seriously we could spend a month with you just on the Great Ocean Road! Our tours offer a range of
accommodation to suit all needs and include gourmet food stops along with an extensive experience in the
Shipwreck coast area. Outback Billy and friends have taken over 100 overnight tours to the Great Ocean Road so
your guide will bring this region to life and you will be amazed with wonder time and time again.

Beautiful sandy beach. Great place for morning tea and a beach walk. Toilets
available. Your guide might help you find anenomes or seastars in the rock pools. It
is relaxing and beautiful without all the buses.
3000 WW1 soldiers built the Great Ocean Road in the 1920’s. Take a photo and
read about their story at the monument. Also a nice little beach for a photo op.
Possibly the best view of the road itself. Oh and the ocean looks fantastic as well
Find at least 5 koalas in the wild. Walk up the road at your own pace. The bus will
return in around 15 minutes after turning around.
Our favourite little town on the Great Ocean Road and a nice lunch
Discover tales of Dinosaurs and Aboriginal history amidst amazing coast line views.
Enjoy the magnificent 12 Apostles (the first of two visits)
Relax overnight in this beautiful beach village (hostel, cabin, motel or beach house
may be available. (Accommodation should add to the experience!)
Enjoy the spectacular Bay of Islands with huge rock formations stepping out into the
bay
We aim for sunset at London Bridge
Dinner is included at a restaurant in Port Cambpell. A lovely and social get
together.
Enjoying the stars, the beaches, local town and each other is part of the magic.

A beautiful gorge with steps down to the beach. Take your shoes off, feel the water
on your feet. Look around you from the base of the Gorge
Enjoy morning time at the wonderful Apostles before the buses and crowds arrive
Enjoy the apostles from beach level without the crowds. Magical!
Enjoy chocolate tasting at this lovely little hobby farm. The licorice covered in
chocolate is highly recommended
Cheese lovers will love this. Wonderful camembert, bree through to blue cheese all
made on site with friendly country hosts. Taste 7-8 cheeses and try to resist the
temptation to buy one
Lunch at Timboon with and home made local ice cream on offer to purchase or in
Port Campbell
Missed by most tours but another remarkable part of the “Shipwrecked coast”
Into the ancient rainforest to step back in time with unique hairy tree ferns, Myrtle
Beech and Australia’s tallest tree species “the Mountain Ash”.
Noodle Canteen, Macdonalds, KFC, Red Rooster or Subway. You can eat in if you order
quickly or eat on the bus. If you bring drinks on the bus please make sure that you
finish them.

Note that sometimes we stay overnight in Apollo Bay and this can change a couple of stops on the itinerary.
Bring toothbrush and toiletries. A towel is useful if staying in a hostel or beach house. Weather can change
and you are likely to experience multiple weather patterns so bring a jumper and jacket even if hot along
with the shorts and t shirt. Sunscreen is a good idea and insect repellent. (We will provide some home
brand versions if you are happy for those). A bottle of water is also useful.
