1. All student major programs must have departmental approval for graduation.
2. We attempt to schedule classes in the same time slot every year so that student can use the current year’s
Schedule of Classes to plan their program for subsequent years, although some courses are offered only in
alternate years.
3. Most biology courses have prerequisites. Be certain to check prerequisites for all courses in which you
plan to enroll
4. The B.A. in Biology requires the student to select a minor field of study. Consult with your Biology
faculty advisor about factors to consider [e.g. employment] when selecting a minor. Consult your
Academic advisor for general education and modern language requirements.
5. Students should select at least one field experience course and one laboratory oriented course from the list
