Bachelor in Psychology
Course Aims
By introducing a Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Psychology the Sigmund Freud University meets the
continuing high demand for a university qualification in this field.
The course programme is designed to provide students with appropriate key qualifications and to
encourage them to develop research competencies in social sciences by applying qualitative and
quantitative research methods.
Candidates gain a professional qualification to practise as psychologists and a firm scientific basis to
continue with Master studies in human and social sciences.
On successful completion of the degree programme students will be awarded a Bachelor’s Degree in
Psychology.
Course Duration
The Bachelor’s Degree Course is a six semester programme including the time required to write the
Bachelor’s thesis.
Tuition Fees
EUR 3.900,– per semester
Admission Requirements
• a secondary school level qualification
• a brief written statement explaining why candidates would like to join the programme
• successful completion of an admission interview with two members of SFU’s permanent scientific staff
