Electrochemistry: Electrodeposition of nanocrystalline coating on industrially important metals by DC Plating and pulse plating. Fuctionalization of electrodes (modification of electrode) for the analysis of ultra-trace elements and organic pollutants. Development of eco-friendly inhibitors for corrosion protection of precious metals and their electrochemical measurements. Electrochemical treatment of waste water. Kinetic study of important biological compounds using spectroscopic and electrochemical techniques. B. Nanotechnology Synthesis and characterization of hierarchical mesoporous nanoparticles such as oxides and different forms of carbon for waste water remediation. Development high performance battery materials and energy conversion devices.
