If you would like to make a part of the text more visual you should use attributes
from text formats, Italics or Bold.
You cannot use the buttons for italics and bold in the menu.
To change back to normal text, use normal text formats from the menu.

When you want to input a footnote you can do it like this:
1) Mark the text in the text block which you are going to make a reference to
2) Insert -> Footnote and endnote … -> (mark: footnote and choose: automatic
numbering) -> OK
3) Write the explaining text at the bottom of the page, where the cursor is.
4) End by clicking in a new spot in the text, where you are going to write the next
part of the text.
