INCIDENT An information vide DD No. 11A dated 30/8/14 at 6.40AM was received at PS New Usmanpur regarding a dead body lying near Reliance Fresh Gali No. 7, infront of H.No. C- 49 Brahampuri Delhi. On reaching the spot the dead body of a male age about 30-35 Years found lying in the street and blood was oozing from the head of the body. Efforts were made to identify the dead body. Senior officers reached on the spot later on dead body was identified as Yashin @ Sonu S/o Bundu Khan R/o Vagabond Brahampuri Delhi and local enquiry revealed that the deceased was living with her mother at Street No. 4, Brahampuri 4-5 years ago. He mostly remained in drunken state and was in habit to make brawl to any body. TEAM :Immediately a team was formed comprising SHO Insp. Mahaveer Singh, Insp. INVESTIGATION & ARREST During the investigation of the case the team made sincere efforts to trace out the accused and the motive behind incident. It is revealed that due to the bad habits of deceased, her mother also abandoned him and sold the house and started living with her daughter in Jama Masjid area. The deceased use to drink in the evening with anti-social elements. All efforts made & through investigation carried out of all the concerned person & with the help CCTV Camera, two persons Namely Ankush Sharma S/o Mahesh Sharma R/o B-80, Gali No.5, Brahampuri Delhi & Mohd Liak @ Lakki S/o Rahish R/o I-24, Gali No. 10, Near Moni Baba Mandir Brahampuri Delhi were pin pointed. They confessed the gulit ultimately the accused Ankush Sharma S/o Mahesh Sharma R/o B-80, Gali No.5, Brahampuri Delhi revealed that he was insulted and beaten by deceased 2-3 months back infront of his friend and relatives and whenever the deceased met the accused in street he used filthy language & threatened to kill him. Find no way out and taking the revenge the accused set his mind to kill him and on the night of incident accused with his accomplice namely Mohd Liak @ Lakki S/o Rahish R/o I-24, Gali No. 10, Near Moni Baba Mandir Brahampuri Delhi followed the deceased in the street in Brahampuri and killed him with the help of a bat & heavy stone and crushed the head of deceased brutally. R/o K-628, Mangol Puri, Delhi wanted in case FIR No. 346/14, dated 07/04/2014, U/S 302/120-B//34 IPC, P. S. Uttam Nagar, Delhi. The accused is a registered B. C. of P.S. Mangol Puri and having more than 58 criminal involvements previously. PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS: 1. Shamshuddin @ Shamshu @ Shamshu Maharaj S/o Deen Mohd. R/o K-628, Mangol Puri, Delhi, Age – 32 years. He has studied upto 6th class. He is married. He started working in a shoe factory, Sultan Pur Mazra, Outer Delhi. After that, he started committing crime and he was first arrested in 2000 in case FIR No. 778/2000 U/s 25/54/59 Arms Act, P.S. Mangol Puri He kept on committing crime alongwith his associates. The charge sheet was filed in the Court against them. However, accused Shamshuddin was evading his arrest and proceeding for declaration of P.O. has been initiated in the concerned court against him. Subsequently, two accused namely, Gajender Singh @ Gajju S/o Tikkam Singh R/o D-733, J.J. Colony, Shiv VIhar, Uttam Nagar, Delhi and Narender @ Nandu S/o Tikkam Singh R/o D-733, J.J. Colony, Shiv VIhar, Uttam Nagar, Delhi were arrested on 05.08.2014 and both are running in Judicial Custody. The staff of AATS/ West was entrusted to arrest desperate criminals. The team of AATS worked relentlessly in this regard and finally the efforts bore fruit. On 01/09/2014 information was received to HC Rishi Kumar, No. 551/W, presently posted in AATS/ West District through a secret informer that Shamshuddin @ Shamshu Maharaj would come to Jhuggi BG-6, Paschim Vihar, Delhi to meet someone. Accordingly, the information was passed to Inspector Dinesh Kumar, AATS/ West, who was further directed to develop the information and act swiftly. Accordingly, a team comprising of ASI Mahabir Singh, ASI Dipender Singh, HC Rishi Kumar, No. 551/W, HC Naveen Kumar, 75/W, Ct. Mohit, No. 2351/W, Ct. Ajay Kumar, No. 1399/W and Ct. Naveen Kumar, No. 1455/W was constituted under the supervision of Inspector Dinesh Kumar. The team developed the information and laid a trap at main road near gas godown, BG-6, Paschim Vihar, Delhi. At about 8.00 AM, a person was spotted coming on foot from Madipur side. On pointing of the secret informer, the suspect was stopped but after seeing the police, he tried to run away. However, the team overpowered him during the operation. On interrogation he was identified as Shamshuddin @ Shamshu. DISCLOSURE & MODUS OPERANDI On sustained interrogation, accused Shamshuddin @ Shamshu @ Shamshu Maharaj has confessed his crime and further disclosed that on 06/04/2014 he had gone to his in-laws home in J. J. Colony, Shiv Vihar, Uttam Nagar area. There he met his old friend Gajjan Singh alongwith his four friends. They decided to organize a party and consumed alcohol. During this time, Gajjan Singh, who owns a Maruti Van and ply it in Uttam Nagar area as passenger vehicle told that a person namely Naushad S/o Mohd. Isha resident of C-Block, Shiv Vihar, Uttam Nagar is creating problems in plying his Maruti van and demanding money in lieu of plying van in area. Naushad S/o Mohd. Isha is also a witness against Gajjan in a case of PS Uttam Nagar. They had planned to eliminate Naushad S/o Mohd. Isha and to solve the problems. Under the influence of alcohol they hatched a plan to teach lesson to Naushad S/o Mohd. Isha and left for their homes. Naushad met at D-Block, Shiv Vihar chowk, Uttam Nagar and they started beating him mercilessly. When he tried to run, he was caught hold by them and they hurled bricks and stabbed him with knives. He fell down at road and they continuously kept attacking him before running away from the spot. Shamshuddin was evading his arrest and taking shelter at different places in Delhi. On further interrogation, Shamshuddin also confessed having his involvement in commission of crime in which a firing incident had taken place in the Mianwali area and a case vide FIR No. 470/14, dated 03.07.14, U/s 307 IPC and 25/27/54/59 Arms Act, PS Mianwali Nagar, New Delhi was registered. In that case, one accused namely, Monu was arrested by the police on 11.07.2014, he disclosed the name of his other associates Shamshuddin and Chottelal who were at large. Subhash of PS Mianwali Nagar were on patrolling duty on motor cycle noticed one vehicle Chota Hathi/Campion bearing No. DL-1LK-3022 coming towards Nangloi side. On seeing police, driver of the vehicle tried to run away on wrong side on service road towards Udyog Nagar but vigilant staff managed to stop the vehicle near Udyog Nagar, Metro Station, Delhi. On searching the vehicle, 35 Cartons of illicit liquor were recovered. TWO COUNTRY MADE PISTOLS AND SEVEN LIVE CARTRIDGES RECOVERED With the arrest of accused Pradeep @ Gurri S/o Hari Kishan, R/o Vill- Bankner , Narela, Delhi and accused Surjeet @ Kaku S/o Bir Singh, r/o Gali No. 1, Baba bhole ki Murti, Green Market, Loni Ghaziabad, U.P, police staff of P.S Alipur, Outer District has busted a desperate gang of criminals. Accused Pradeep is also involved in many other robbery cases in Delhi and Haryana. INFORMATION & INCIDENT Recently a number of incidents of highway robbery especially truck robberies, snatching and burglary had been reported in the area of P.S Alipur and seeing the rising graph of this type of cases, a special team of PS Alipur was pressed into action to check this trend. With this purpose on 26.08.2014 a covert team consisting of HC Jugander No. 3158/OD, Ct. Attar Singh No. 1064/OD, Ct. Anil No. 1166/OD and Ct. Yogesh No. 894/OD was deployed in front of Shiv Murthy, Service lane, GTK Road, Bakauli, Delhi. At about 7.10 PM the team observed one Sky blue color Santro car No. DL 4C AG 0354 coming from inside Bakauli Village. Four persons were sitting inside the Santro car. On reaching the main road the car stopped next to a parked truck near a petrol pump and two young men stepped out. They first observed the truck and then tried to open the door. On seeing this suspicious activity, the covert team immediately reacted and moved towards the truck. On being challenged, the two persons who were trying to enter the truck ran away while the two persons sitting in the Santro were apprehended. On checking two country made pistols, one katta and 7 live cartridges were recovered from the possession of accused persons. Information was given at police station regarding the incident and recovery. TWO PERSONS, INCLUDING HIS CLOSE ASSOCIATE AND A CRIMINAL APPREHENDED. A team of officers of Crime Branch led by ACP KPS Malhotra and consisting of Insp. Surinder Singh Sandhu, SIs Neeraj Kumar, Braham Dev, HCs Abhey Singh, Ajeet, Surender, Nitin Cts Ajay, Praveen, Pravesh and Sandeep Dabas under the supervision of DCP Crime Sh Bhisham Singh have arrested two persons involved in extortion. They had demanded Rs 70-80 Lacs from the complainant, a businessman and resident of Timar Pur. One of the arrested persons is known to the complainant. He had hatched the conspiracy along with a criminal associate to extort money from the well to do businessman. His criminal associate is previously involved in a case of robbery of the year 2011 of PS Connaught Place. On 30.05.14 the complainant, a businessman and resident of Timar Pur received an extortion call on his mobile phone in which the caller demanded Rs 70-80 Lacs or he would face dire consequences. On 02.06.14, the complainant again received a call that he would be killed if the extortion money was not paid. On 03.06.14 the complainant got a case of Extortion registered at PS Timar Pur. On 29.08.14 on specific information two persons responsible for making the extortion calls were apprehended. They were identified as Pankaj Aggarwal (aged- 34 Yrs) S/o Sh. Hari Parkash Aggarwal R/o Vijay Nagar, Old Gupta Colony, Delhi, and Naresh Kumar Gaur (aged- 26 Yrs) S/o Dinesh Kumar Gaur R/o Kishanganj, Delhi. They were arrested under the appropriate sections of the law. The arrested persons were subjected to intensive interrogation. It was revealed that Pankaj Aggarwal is a close associate of the complainant. He had hatched the conspiracy along with Naresh Kumar Gaur, a criminal to extort money from the complainant. It was further revealed that Naresh Kumar Gaur made the extortion calls but when the complainant did not pay up, in order to convince the complainant that the extortion calls were genuine, Pankaj Aggarwal told the complainant that he had also received extortion calls on his mobile phone from the extortionist, in which the caller had threatened that he would kill the complainant if the extortion money was not paid. To further weave the web of conspiracy, and to further convince the complainant that the extortion calls were genuine Pankaj Aggarwal, on 19.08.14 went to PS Mukherjee Nagar and made a false complaint that he had been robbed of his mobile and cash by motorcycle/car borne robbers at gun point. He further stated that they had also enquired about the complainant and threatened to eliminate him and complainant if the extortion money was not paid. From Pankaj Aggarwal has been recovered the mobile phone that was supposed to have been robbed. Pankaj Aggarwal is a post graduate and deals in confectionary items. Naresh Kumar Gaur is a graduate and is a Bouncer by profession. He is also involved in a case of robbery of the year 2011 of PS Connaught Place. ASHOK CHAND ADDL.COMMISSIONER OF POLICE CRIME BRANCH:DELHI NEW DELHI DISTRICT 01.09.2014 NEW DELHI DISTRICT POLICE BUSTS GAMBLING RACKET OPERATING FROM FIVE STAR HOTEL Keeping up the ante and acting against illegal activities, the staff of Police Station Parliament Street under the leadership of SHO, Parliament Street, acted upon a credible information and raided two adjacent suites (No. 620 and 622) apprehended 18 gamblers who had gathered from different parts of Trans-Yamuna area for the purpose of large-scale gambling. Board money to the tune of Rupees one lakh ten thousands and cash worth Rupees one lakh six thousand was seized from the gamblers. Upon interrogation, they informed that they had gathered at the Five-Star Hotel because it offers them a safe hideout away from the scrutiny of the police and other law-enforcement agencies. The gamblers have been booked under the Public Gambling Act at Police Station Parliament Street. Those booked in the FIR are Amit Yadav, Pawan Pandit, Ikramuddin, Jitender, Krishna Kumar, Raghav Bharadwaj, Vivek Tyagi, Mukesh Kumar, Shrichand, Sunil Kumar, Gyanender Kumar, Maharajuddin, Naveen, Kailash Kumar Sharma, Sudarshan, Sunil Gupta, Ashok and Dharmender. Malekfatehpur, PS Mainather, Tehsil Billari, District Moradabad, UP and six stolen Motor Cycles have been recovered on his instance. INCIDENT AND TEAM On 30-8-14 a secret information was received by Ct. Devender No. 738/N at the office of AATS/North, Delhi, that an auto-lifter will pass through Yudhistar Bridge (ISBT) on a stolen motor cycle. On receipt of this information, a raiding party under the leadership of SI Ravindra Singh consisting of HC Mahesh, HC Khushal Singh Ct. Amit, and Ct. Devender was constituted. The team took their position near Yudhistar flyover at 7:30 A.M . At around 10:40 AM one person came from Shahdra on a black colour discover M/Cycle bearing No. DL5SBK 4697 and on the instance of informer, making rapid and instant action, the dedicated raiding party caught hold that person who was later identified as namely Furkaan s/o Bhura r/o Vill. INTERROGATION On interrogation it has come out that accused was born in 1991 at the address mentioned above. He is an illiterate person and doing the work of Barber, he came in contact with Gufraan and Sharik who used to stole vehicles from Delhi and sell those stolen vehicles in the area of UP. During his personal search two more keys were found, when he was asked about those keys he confessed that these are the keys of two more stolen vehicles i.e scooty & TVS Star city and on his instance both vehicles were recovered from First Pusta Usmaan Pur, Delhi. Scooty bearing registration No. DL9SAP-5966 and the same was stolen vide FIR No. 569/14, PS Vikaspuri, Delhi and TVS motor cycle bearing registration No. DL4SBB-8412 was stolen vide FIR No. 774/14, PS Rajaouri Garden, Delhi. He further confessed that he alongwith his associate had stolen a passion motor cycle from the area of PS Maurice Nagar and accused was taken on three days P.C Remand.
