Farm Team Tennis Ball Pull
At the Bath Co. Fair

Friday July 10th at 7:00 p.m.
in Horse show Arena
Entry Fee-$10
Eligibility: Open to everyone- Conditions- a sled weighted with
cement blocks will be used. Equipped with a tennis ball in tuna
can.
Rules
1. This is a farm team tennis ball pull.
2. No jerking of the sled. Tennis ball must remain in can for
completed pull.
3. Teamster has two (2) minutes upon reaching sled to hook and
pull.
4. Teams that cannot be controlled will be disqualified. The judge
will decide if a team is not in control.
5. A complete pull is 20 ft. Distances of less than 20 ft. will be used
to determine winners and placements.
6. Pulling track width is 14 ft. If team touches or steps over a
boundary, their pull is disqualified.
7. Weight for the start of the pull and increase of the weight will be
determined by the pulling committee.
8. Good teamstership will be displayed at all times No whipping, no
profanity, no “lining of the horses”, etc.
9. Each team has three tries to pull the sled 20 ft. before more
weight is added. If the teamster wants his second pull, he must
stay hooked to the sled. The teamster can forfeit his second
pull, unhook and come back at the end for his third pull..
10. For safety, one other individual will be permitted to accompany
the driver, if necessary. This individual may assist with the
hooking and unhooking of the evener.
11. The judge and pulling committee will render the final decisions
on all rules and other situations not depicted above.
12. No blindfolds.
13. Must have blinders on Bridle.
14. Teamster has three tries to hook a load, if not hooked in three
tries, it is counted as a pull.
Mules are eligible to pull with the horses.
Premiums $125-100-75-50-40
First 10 teams entered will receive $25 stipend.

OPEN CLASSES ARE OPEN TO ALL EXHIBIGather a team and join us Friday July 10, 2015 at 7 pm at the
Bath County Ag Center in conjunction with the Bath County Fair
and prove just how good you and your team are at grilling steaks!
Rules:
1. Teams will consist of 2 to 4 participants.
2. Plates, charcoal grill, charcoal and lighters will be provided.
3 Bath County Cattlemen’s will provide 3 8 ounce Ribeyes
per team.
4. No other beef to be present, other than the Ribeyes provided.
If any other beef is found, team will be disqualified.
5. Cooking teams will provide any seasonings, juices, or rubs.
6. Steaks should be cooked to a minimum of 145 degrees or
medium rare degree of doneness.
7. When presenting the beef, teams should only present the steak.
Kale or any other greens may be utilized, but steaks should be
presented pain without any other side dishes. Bath County
Cattlemen’s Association with provide plates for
presentation as well.

do on KET’s Antique Road Show. Two appraisers will
be present to value items brought in by the public.
